If you are a member of a Toastmasters International Club and you are
interested in advancing your skills in public speaking, listening and impromptu situations then you are in the right place.
We invite all members who have gained or almost achieved their Competent Communicator awards, whether you are from Metropolitan, Eastern or Central Divisions. You can all join in, become a member of our club and let us know of the events that are happening in your part of the world.
You will also learn from and about your fellow members, pick up useful tips in communication and leadership and hear about upcoming events on the Toastmaster Calendar, including our 100th meeting in early 2014.
As an advanced club Chermside Communicators is your wisest choice in Metropolitan Division. We can assist you to become a more complete evaluator, speaker and leader with very experienced members, a variety of assignments on offer, laughter, learning and a genuine interest in your success. We help our members gain valuable insight into what they say and how they say it.
Why consider an advanced club? We offer you the opportunity to expand your speaking skills and receive the benefit of extensive individual and group evaluation. Your critical thinking skills increase as you listen and observe, so you can give constructive feedback. The meetings are also convenient for presenting longer speech projects from the advanced manuals.
Come and visit us at our next meeting. Look for the signs outside the room. We meet on the first Saturday of every month from 9.00am to 11.00am.
